Little Book of Self-Care Excerpts

This simple little book is about my absolute beliefs around the importance of practicing self-care. My experience is that self-care is rarely understood except when you are on an airplane and receive those instructions about putting on your oxygen mask before assisting those around you. I truly believe that this is the only time that self-care is advised or even mentioned in a real way, for that matter.Now more than ever, is the time to find out who we are and what is important.

Follow Your Instincts…

Our instincts serve as our internal compass. How many times have you been in a situation and you got that hint, that little nudge, that prompted to you make a decision, and afterward you were so thankful that you listened to yourself?

Let it Go…

Let go of the idea that you need to find the answers of why things happen the way they have. Seeking and sorting out old stuff from the past is another distraction to keep you from being who you really are. Let it go.

Make Mistakes…

Mistakes are another subject worthy of an 80-chapter book. So I’ll summarize: Make big, juicy mistakes, extract the lessons, and share what you learn.
